Embroidery package that contains interesting patterns based on the visual books of previous centuries. The pattern of a rose petal is part of a complex / triangular eight-leaf rose, a variety that is not known outside Iceland as far as is known.
Based on a pattern from the vision book of Jón Einarsson, a farmer and craftsman in Skaftafell in the 18th century. The book contains many patterns intended for needlework and is considered a great treasure. It is preserved in the National Museum of Iceland.
The package includes patterns and instructions. 100% cotton canvas, 10x10cm, 100% Icelandic wool and needle.
