Beautiful replica of Jeton made in Silver with a leather strap or chain.
Jeton were used for counting and figuring, this French token from the mid -1400 was found in a work area by the kitchen in the convent at Skriðuklaustur, eastern part of Iceland.
The hole in the token suggests that it was later used as decoration.
This replica is made by Ingi Bjarnason an Icelandic Goldsmith that founded the well-known Jewelry brand Sign.
