Ólafur Magnússon (1889-1954) Was one of a group of young photographers who began work at the onset of the twentieth century and was one of the leading Icelandic photographers up until the middle of the century. The photography career of Ólafur was many sided and he was good at finding new venues for his photography work. This is an account of the photography career of Ólafur and his contribution to the history of photography in Iceland in an article by Inga Lára Baldvinsdóttir curator at the National Museum of Iceland.
The book was published in conjunction with the photographic exhibition by the National Museum of Iceland in the Reykjavík Art Museum in 2003.
