Sewing set that contains interesting patterns based on the visual books of previous centuries. Knots of various types were common in needlework in earlier years.
Based on a pattern from the vision book of Jón Einarsson, a farmer and craftsman in Skaftafell in the 18th Century. The book contains many patterns intended for needlework and is considered a great treasure. It is preserved in the National Museum of Iceland.
