Reykholt – The Church Excavations.
Reykholt in Borgarfjörður is best known for Snorri Sturluson's residence there in the first half of the 13th century, but was probably a mansion from the beginning of the settlement there. Reykholt became one of the first places in the early 12th century and was then also a household name. The book deals with archaeological research on the old church site and reviews the architectural history there from around 1000 until the 19th century.
The book is 320 pages and published in 2016.
