On 11 September 1955 Sigr\u00ed\u00f0ur Zo\u00ebga and Steinunn Thorsteinsson donated their entire collection of photographic plates to the National Museum of Iceland. The book includes the biographical profile of Sigr\u00ed\u00f0ur, her work is discussed and there is a choice selection of her best photographs in the book.<\/p>\n

Author of the text is \u00c6sa Sigurj\u00f3nd\u00f3ttir art historian.<\/p>\n
